This is Rebecca. =) My BP and I, (we like to call each other that, “whassup bp!” aka “business partner,” one of many nicknames we have for each other, hehe) are gonna start posting whenever we can on here despite our busy schedules with school, work, and cupcaking. ^___^

August happens to be many of our good friends birthdays and we usually celebrate each one individually. But since there’s so many, a combined party was decided. So Janelle and I got a chance to experiment a little with more flavors at one time since there would be many mouths to feed. =) So there was four birthdays to be celebrated, we asked each one what they wanted: Marie- funfetti, Christine-lemon with raspberry filling, Jon-chocolate with strawberry ice cream, and brad-anything chocolate, which ended up being mini chocolate cupcakes with white chocolate inside. hehe

Anyway, making them was pretty exhausting, especially since we started pretty late this time. For me, when i saw how happy people were, it felt pretty good. It was a blessing to bring smiles to their faces. PLUS, some of our good friends are really talented photographers so we were super lucky to have Dillon, Bradley, & Brandon take pictures for us that day. (we’ll be posting them later).

This past weekend was our biggest order yet…200 cupcakes!!! The order was for a Red Egg and Ginger Party (a baby’s one month old party in Chinese tradition) which was pretty crazy but exciting. Anyway, we kinda learned from the week before of not starting late and this time we started a lot earlier so we weren’t as exhausted…took us about 7 hours of just baking & decorating all together, so not toooo bad! haha. For the client, we made 4 flavors, chocolate, red velvet, lemon with raspberry filling, and Boston Cream cupcakes. Since this party was for two babies, the client wanted little pink & blue fondant baby feet on top each cupcake which turned out super cute because it matched with the theme. Anyway, it was a success and we had a pleasure baking for them. =) turns out everyone loved the lemon filled with rasberry and boston cream ones the most.

Stand Up Creations is happy to say how excited & blessed we are to be on this journey of dessert making.
